As a part of the competencies to be fulfilled for Pixel Based Imaging, you are required to write a minimum of 250 words on the uses, rights and wrongs of using copyrighted material i.e. an existing image or logo.
A good place to start is the London 2012 Olympics. Read through the Protected content list that is the Olympic Brand rules.
Refer to other instances where copyright has been infringed i.e. Panic softwares Transmit Logo piracy.
