* It is worth noting that you can purchase individual tickets for individual events whilst at the festival in Berlin. This will inevitably cost you more than the early bird price when you attend a variety of shows & events i.e. entrance into Club Maria may cost around €10+ for a single event and the entrance cost to the main Exhibition at the The House of World Culture will cost every time you go. A festival pass will allow you to go to multiple events and locations (included in the festival) for that one price.
Just to put that into perspective, when you compare the pricing of a current show in London, Pippilotti Rist at The Hayward Gallery will cost you £8 on the door which is €9.5. Or if you go to see the Gerhard Richter exhibition at the Tate Modern, the concession price will cost you £10.90 = €13.
You see how it all adds up.
I think the discounted festival ticket purchase is a very good idea.

or put another way, I spent £44 (€51.5) going to 3 brilliant onedotzero sessions which roughly was about 3 hours worth.
So for €60 you get access to the all the official Transmediale Festival (day) venues for the 5 days we are in Berlin. Excellent value!
