my special rant just for you all, is in folder 182
Are we okay if we exported to H.264 to begin with?
yours was fine jacques – but you went via after effects – it’s fcp thats the issue
I showed my film to both Andy and Mark and stated that it wouldn’t play on Quicktime in Room 106 although it plays fine on my machine.
I asked would this be a problem to both.
Andy said no as he would be able to play it on VLC on his laptop and Mark said the same. I therefore took this as being OK to submit.
I do have a proper version of FCP and as no one has ever shown me how to do that I don’t see how I am supposed to be aware of it.
I am not an expert at all and don’t claim to be – I’m learning. Now I have seen how to export it properly I will.
I apologise for causing any irritation.
caroline – it wasn’t you, more a cumulative thing – endless unplayable videos in room 106 on my own for two weeks gets a bit depressing after a while
That’s OK. I just wanted to make sure you knew I didn’t do it out of laziness or anything like that And I appreciate how annoying it must be.
you know you love it Mark
@Marc N “you know you love it Mark ”

AE the best!!!!
