360 degree video camera
wow – this looks cool
year 2 monday 9am

all year 2 – on monday at 9am please bring with you a small digital camera – small compacts and even phone cams providing they are minimum 640 x 480 resolution are just fine
make sure they are charged and you have the cables / readers with you to transfer to the macs – don’t expect to use bluetooth – too slow
if you have digital slrs then great but these are not suitable for what we will be doing to start with – compacts or phones only please
can you also get hold of a craft knife with new blades and a tube of super glue and a CD (used or otherwise) in a plastic box
it will be fun
cheers
mark
vr photography

I have been working through some VRs that I have been taking and uploading to flickr recently and then I noticed this article – http://bit.ly/4UUDzZ on 10steps – a photoshop tuts site
25 examples of awesome vr photography and I was looking at the examples and agreeing that they were indeed awesome
OMG
..how good was that exhibition!
The V & A curated a superb group of digital work. We must try to create/ make more installation ideas at college.
+ the looping short video clip wall for the degree show would be an excellent idea even if its not interactive!
Post your photo and video blog links from Decode in the comments.

sigma 10-20mm lens for vr panorama

this is an important post for when you use our 10-20mm lens for panoramas
once you understand the process you will understand these figures
the D40 and most probably any of the nikons you own are 1.5 multipliers
